In preparation for selecting the recipient of Impact100 Metro Denver's second $100,000 grant in June, we gathered on April 5th to hear from experts on Denver’s community needs. Beth McBride, Interim Chairman of the Education Committee, introduced Cody Belzley who acted as panel moderator. Guests included: Slavica Park, Director of Workforce & Economic Development of Focus Points Resource Center who spoke on training and education focused toward self-sufficiency for women, girls and disabled youth; Jennifer Stedron, Executive Director, Early Milestones Colorado, who spoke on early childhood development; Adrienne Russman, Associate Director of Strategic Initiatives and External Affairs, Colorado Department of Corrections who spoke on prison reintegration; and Roberta Payne, Ph.D in Mental Health, who spoke on issues of mental health.

Thank you to the Education Committee for gathering together such expert speakers and to the Events Committee for our venue, set up and food and drink!
